Creative force and Luxury Industry tastemaker Jason Basmajian’s career to date has encompassed all areas of design. Living and working in New York, Paris, Milan and London, Jason’s understated, elegant style has been formed by his extensive experience across global luxury brands.

With a sharp eye for detail, Jason’s intuitive approach draws on an extensive knowledge of architecture, contemporary art and design to create quietly luxurious environments with timeless style and a sense of place. Combining a contemporary sensibility with an understanding of classical elements, Jason creates unique interiors that are comfortable, practical and imbued with warmth.
A citizen of the world, Jason helped shape brands such as Calvin Klein and Donna Karan in New York before moving to Europe as Creative Director of Cerruti in Paris, Brioni in Milan and Gieves & Hawkes on Savile Row in London, Jason built a reputation for reviving heritage brands by identifying their core DNA and bringing a fresh, relevant take that saw him dubbed a “Brand Visionary” by the press.
Jason’s projects to date have have spanned both residential and commercial. His award-winning redesign of the Gieves & Hawkes flagship store at No.1 Savile Row was lauded as a rejuvenation of the brand, while his residential projects have been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Sunday Times Style and Wallpaper. Jason’s work has been recognized for its effortless chic, mix of textures and fabrics, attention to detail and uncompromising commitment to quality.

Jason has been a guest lecturer at the London Business School, Royal College of Art, Parsons School of Design and the China Business Forum. As an Art Director, Jason has produced numerous global print and digital campaigns with photographers including Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier and Paolo Roversi. As a tastemaker, he has been profiled in publications including GQ, the Financial Times’ “How to Spend It”, Esquire and Times Luxury.

Jason is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. He is fluent in French and Italian and based in London.
