On the heels of the work we did for Stussy on La Brea, the owner called with a question – would we be interested in coming up with an idea for an environment to support a new concept he was developing? We said yes, which led to what would come to be known as Undefeated. Lots of talented folks pitched in, and the first Undefeated store became a reality. The billboard on top of the building was re-invented as something more like a gallery with a guest artist series featuring the likes of Barry McGee, Geoff McFetridge, and Kehinde Wiley to name a few.
