Philip Rossillo is the managing principal of PRDG architecture + design in New York City. Philip has been at this position for 16 years as the company’s founder and guiding force. PRDG architecture + design was established as a boutique design firm with a philosophy focused on the realization of a spatial experience that is generated from intellectual design. This approach coherently integrates context, function, structure and select materials to maximize the potential for a given space. Philip believes buildings should be responsive, dynamic environments, which stimulate the human spirit and are sculpted by the client’s distinct attributes.
Philip Rossillo is a Registered Architect in the State of New York. He received his Bachelors of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture & Design, in NY. In the search to further his understanding of architecture and design, Philip was directed to the University of Texas where he earned his Masters Degree in Architecture & Design. UTA afforded him the ability to explore the many facets of design & the boundaries of process. Along with studies abroad in France & Italy, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe to forward & root his design vision in the study of historical precedent. He has also established a record of work that not only reflects his architectural knowledge and elevates his clients’ experience, but also expresses his personality.
Philip has completed works in New York, Seattle, Miami and Los Angeles. With a personalized approach and an innate understanding of the construction environment, Philip is well recognized in the high-end residential and commercial markets. Philip has designed and administered construction of over 30 high-end residential projects. His leadership qualities and ability to deliver a high-end product under pressure has garnered PRDG many high profile clients and projects. His ability to translate design into the build form within budget has distinguished his firm in the world of architecture and design.
