The Eye was founded by professionals with decades of combined experience in interior design, artist management, brand marketing, and design publishing.
For over 20 years as a celebrated fashion stylist and then interior designer, Estee Stanley has been responsible for some of the most stylish looks in Hollywood and around the world counting A List clients and fashion icons as her clients.
Through personal experience of working with an agent as a stylist, Estee knew the benefits of working with a representative to support and help build her career. Recognizing that no such agency existing for the interior design industry, she founded The Eye to solve many of the challenges facing creatives in what is a growing and yet under-served industry. With her endless network and personal experience, Estee is in a unique position to help build her clients’ brands and find them opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
After graduating from Stanford University, Nathan Brookshire began his career in the finance industry, working as a financier to the Arts & Entertainment industries in Los Angeles. This gave Nathan a strong foundation in understanding the unique business, operating, and financial capital needs of creative companies. After attending Tuck School of Business, Nathan sharpened his business acumen at such blue chip companies as Barclays Capital, Warner Bros., and Netflix, working in M&A and leading corporate strategic decisions.
Nathan left the corporate world to co-found Design: Agency & Management, a boutique management consultancy firm set up to bring institutional-grade financial/strategic advisory services to creative companies in need of analytical rigor & business management. In 2021, D:AM merged with The Eye.
Throughout her career, Amy Lederman has spent her entire professional life as an entrepreneur, specializing in marketing, brand management and brand outreach.
Prior to co-founding The Eye, Amy spent several years building a business partnership with celebrity hair stylist Sally Hershberger, taking her ideas from inception to execution and helping launch a range of Sally Hershberger Professional Hair Care products into mass distribution, including Walgreens and CVS. Amy remains a co-owner of the entire product line of Sally Hershberger Professional Hair Care, and still regularly consults for the highly successful Sally Hershberger Salons in NYC and LA. Amy began her career as VP of Marketing for Aussie Nads Hair Removal Gel launching several projects into mass market, QVC and HSN.
